Benjamin Moore’s Color of the Year 2021 is Aegean Teal. I cannot tell you how excited I am about this!
I have always been drawn to blues and greens; teal is a combination of both. Blue and green are side by side on the color wheel and therefore represent harmony which reflects nature. This is a balanced yet bold color, calming yet daring, and can be used as a focus or as an accent, depending on your comfort level.
There are many ways to introduce teal into your decor and it does not have to be as a painted wall. Here are some ways to have fun with it - statement pieces like the Kelly Clarkson sideboard, an accent wall papered in teal could be stunning, or pops of the color in a throw pillow or table lamp or some tableware.
